UMC CO-OP PRESCHOOL
The preschool was founded in 1977 by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. The Mt. Zion United Methodist Co-op Preschool is a non-denominational preschool, where academics and social skills are taught in a loving, Christian environment. Each child will grow spiritually, socially, physically, creatively and academically.
You must physically turn in the registration form and pay the registration fee to reserve your spot. No information can be taken over the phone (except to be put on a waiting list).
When enrollment is full, parents go on a waiting list and are called as an opening is available and the registration fee and forms are turned in and paid to hold their spot.

2024-25 School Year Information
There is a Teacher and a Teacher’s Assistant.
Children need to be 3 (& potty trained) by September 1st
Classes usually begin after Labor Day and go thru mid-May. The first day of school for 2024-2025 will be announced at a later date.
Parents will have the option of enrolling 3 days (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday) or 5 days(Monday-Friday). Class time is 9:00 – 11:30am.
Last year classes began September 14th. An exact date for this year, will be posted later.
3 class days is $135/month* with a $60 non-refundable registration fee and includes 1 background check.
5 class days is $185/month* with a $60 non-refundable registration fee and includes 1 background check.
$200 per month if 2 or more children *with a $120 non-refundable registration fee and includes 1 background check.
All background checks need to be finished by Sept. 11, 2024.
School is in session along with the Mt. Zion School Calendar. If Mt. Zion is open a half day, the pre-school does not meet.
